Valera Ghali is an Associate Medical Malpractice Attorney who is passionate about advocating for individuals who have been injured as a result of medical negligence.

Originally from Westlake, Ohio, Valera graduated summa cum laude from John Carroll University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she also obtained a Health Law Certificate.

Valera began focusing on health law during her first year of law school as a Gerber Law-Medicine Fellow. Throughout her legal education, she completed specialized coursework in medical malpractice and hospital administration and served as an Executive Editor for Health Matrix: The Journal of Law-Medicine.

Before transitioning to represent individuals harmed by medical negligence, Valera spent three years gaining medical malpractice litigation experience representing hospitals and healthcare providers. Her background provides her with valuable insight into the complexities of medical malpractice cases and the healthcare system.

Outside of the office, Valera enjoys attending shows at Playhouse Square and other local theaters, cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers, and spending time planning and designing luxury events. She is also a member of Sts. Peter and George Orthodox Church.
